our founder, Avrey Hendrix, saw the work being done with the Utah Period Project and immediately felt led to bring the fight against period poverty to Idaho. After many phone calls to friends and supportive school counsellors and principals, it was very apparent that there was a need and so we got to work!
With a very generous donation of $30,000 from the Upper Valley Child Advocacy Center, we were able to kick off our very first project of installing 83 Aunt Flo dispensers in the bathrooms of 32 east Idaho schools. We continue to donate monthly period packs to schools and are currently working on legislation that will ensure no girl in Idaho ever goes without necessary feminine products.
Like what you see? There's even more going on behind the scenes! We'd love to have you join us.
Thank you! We'll be in touch.
